Who We Are?
Emerald Hills West provides enhanced security staffed by a Hollywood Police private detail. This detail affords the neighborhood increased police presence and the ability to contact the patrolling officer directly. The patrolling officer carries a duty phone and a vacation log which allows them to identify unexpected activity and engage as appropriate. The Emerald Hills Security Enhancement District (The District) was created by the City Commission in order to fund the operation of the Detail. Please contact us and we will provide the phone number to all confirmed homeowners.

Testimonials
“Our home was robbed during the day in June of 2016. Thankfully we were not home. Our alarm was not armed due to workers just leaving the house. The perpetrator was seen on some neighbors video walking down the street. The next day, our hired patrol (off duty Hollywood Police) noticed someone of a similar description walking in the neighborhood again. They approached him and asked for his ID. They had to let him go, but ran a check of his name against recent activity in pawn shops. We were called down to the pawn shop he visited locally and recovered a good portion of our belongings. He was arrested that night and is currently in jail for his crimes. Thanks to the patrol, we were able to catch him and prevent any further losses in our neighborhood. “
